as a newbie blogger- I noticed i keep starting each blog with SO... and more sentences with so... aiks! my ability to put a proper sentence together is horrid. SO.. note to self. STOP starting sentences with SO. Just bought another festival ticket last night for hyde park. Won't tell you which but will post it when the time comes. SO... excited. I'm glad that ticketmaster UK had a will call option for this event (although they don't call it will call- they just say your tickets are being held at the box office. How proper!).
Happy friday lovelies- and happy memorial day weekend too.

Anathallo- Cafe Du Nord
So I was willing to not see Anathallo at Coachella because I had tickets to watch them at Cafe Du Nord (Note to self- Must remember to eat at Cafe Du Nord, their menu looked delish! And the bartenderess made a recommendation for me to drink my favourite drink- Pear Cider- over ice, Yummo!). Watching them live at a small venue was definitely worth it. Words just can't describe the intricacies of what they put together. "Great Wind More Ash" finally made sense to me also as they explained the story of Hanasakajijii- hence the four parter. I wish I knew a way to post the little clip i took from my cell. It was actually quite a good shot since i was up front and personal. And I just went on amazon to steal an image and it says that they have 1 more Floating World album left. Yay!

Artic Monkeys- Warfield

So once again- there was 3 of us. And I ended up to be the last one standing. So they didn't sing Mardy Bum @ Coachella- but they sang it here!!! I even have a full length bootleg video posted on youtube. I was also proud of myself- i was definitely a virgin onesome in attending a concert. And I have 2 more planned in the near future.

Coachella 2007
So I wanted a blog site so I could post about my up and coming trips and a good blog always needs a theme. So what a better way to start than my most recent trip down to Coachella. Plans started with the 4 of us driving down- but it ended up as 3. By the last day- it was just 2 standing. I'm sure we all circulated the same germs. We didn't even bother trying to drive back again- so bought last minute tickets and flew home.
I can't say there was a particular favourite show of mine. Bjork was awesome- but better yet was that mixing machine! And I couldn't even get anywhere near Amy Winehouse's tent. I love the Klaxons- i missed The Kooks :( The guy who sat next to me on the flight home showed me clips of Cornelius- which made me wish i explored more. Everybody was super duper and I'm definitely looking forward to next year. You coming?
